Pangea Food Service Management was established by Richard O’Brien in 1998 to assist camps in managing their seasonal kitchens. Rich had been working seasonally as a kitchen manager and chef since 1991 and knew that he could offer organizations a complete service that would eliminate the need for them to deal with kitchen administration, organization and staffing.

Pangea has partnered with a variety of organizations in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire over the years.

In addition to providing seasonal contract food service, Pangea also offers corporate and social catering.  We cater events such as family reunions, holiday parties, summer picnics and cookouts, board meetings, company picnics, graduation and dinner parties.

Pangea is a full service food service provider. We pride ourselves in exceeding our client's needs.  We provide total kitchen management for seasonal kitchens, and a variety of options designed to meet the needs of our corporate and social catering customers large and small.

Pangea provides its partners with unparalleled kitchen management. We take care of all food service needs including menu planning, budgeting, purchasing, and staffing so our clients can focus on their camp programs

Pangea’s staff comes from all around the world. Past kitchen team members came to us from across the U.S. as well as from Poland, United Kingdom, France, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Russia, Moldavia, and Turkey.

Our kitchen located at Ferry Beach Park Association on the Southern coast of Maine is open March through November.
